Last day in Barcelona!
It was our last day in barcelona, been spending so much time in barcelona doing retail therapy and continuing our workshop projects, because of these activities we really didn’t have the time to get to know the lovely place, so what’s the best way to spend our last day in barcelona???? Yeap! we allotted time to appreciate the place and get to know the place deeper! We went somewhere far from las ramblas because I know that that place is a place for tourist and shoppers! We wanted to know the history, the art and the idea of this city so we went to the historical side of the city instead. Here’s a photo diary of my lovely tour around the historic and iconic places in barcelona.
That structure at the back is a bull ring! if you’re familiar with bull fights then there you have it! but in barcelona bull fights are banned because it was too violent to watch that’s why that bull ring in our background was converted into a Mall.
That’s MNAC art’s museum in barcelona. The place was grand and beautiful! If you guys have been following me on Instagram (@mikocarreon) then you should know that I took a lot of selfies and gangstah photos here.
we also went to THE “less is more” barcelona pavillon by Van Der Rohe.
and this is called the barcelona chair! I forgot why is it so special though. hahaha! :))
with my tour buddies Miggy and Jul! :)
Yeap…this is the art’s museum…
View of barcelona from the art museum! daaamn! I really want to go back!
I want to end this post with photos of Calatrava’s Telefonica tower! How awesome is that structure??? I just can’t wait to go back to barcelona and enjoy it once again and get to know more about it! maybe I can go with my family but it would be better if I also go with friends! mehehehe…
Adidas Unite all originals
Even before Jesse Owens wore Adi Dassler’s spikes in the ‘30s, technical and material developments have been at the core of adidas’ running shoe DNA. But innovations such as the ZX heel counter and the Torsion bar cut-out had as much impact on street style as they did on the track, especially in the ‘90s when London’s rude-boys’ passion for bright, colour-blocked runners was exported globally. There are echoes of that era throughout the adidas Originals Spring/Summer 2013 collection, with bright neon and block colours showing up across iconic silhouettes such as the ZX500 and ZX750. Importantly, the Torsion Allegra makes its first appearance in 20 years, joining other ‘90s mould-breakers such as the Phantom and the Tech Super. Running influences are also spotted on accessories and apparel such as the Colorado windbreaker, kept modern with updated fit and subtle materials.
